Rhinestone Information
Foiling
The process of mirror coating jewelry stones to obtain optium brilliance.
Gold Foiled (G)
A Silver mirror, coated with Gold colored protective layer.
Silver Foiled (S)
A Silver mirror, coated with a Silver colored protective layer.
M- Foiled (M)
An Aluminium mirror, applied using a vacume coating process.
Effects
The finishing of the stone by a means of a vacum coating process.
Suface effects
Normal vacume coating process applied to the top of the stone. The Hematite coating is only Jet colored stones. Some examples are Aurore Boreala (AB), geet Argent Light (CAL), Dorado (DOR), Glacier Blue (GLBL), Hematite (HEM), Nut, and Satin (SAT).
Special Effects
Or Translucent effects, special vacume coating process applied to the back of the stone, which is visible through the crystal. Some examples are Bermuda Blue (BBL), Heliotrope (HELIO), Meridian Blue (MBLUE), Sage, Sky Blue (SKYB), Star Shine (STSH), Tabac (TAB), Vitrail Light (VL*), Vitrail Mediu, (VM), and Volcano (VOL).
Matt Finish
A chemical process is applied to the surface of the stone to achieve a matt Finish.
V = The vacume coating process is applied to the oposite side of the stone example geet Argent Light is a vacume coated stone.
Z = Only part of the stone is vaume coated. Examples A4866, and A4860s the bottoms are vacume coated.
