Chimay: A Guide to Chimay Rouge - My Favorite Beer

Chimay Rouge - One of the World's Finest Beers

Chimay Rouge - which I enjoyed for the first time this weekend with my
sister who works at Blue Smoke in New York City - is one of the world's
finest beers and a secret of the Trappist Monks in Belgium. Although
Belgium is known for its great beers, not all Belgium beers have the
same world renowned and recongition that Chimay does. Chimay Rouge
carries a red color with a fruity aroma and is best enjoyed from an
open, wide glass so that you can enjoy its creamy head. Chimay Rouge
goes down very smooth with an almost caramel spicey finish. This beer
can stand out to the fattier, spicier foods - however, it drinks
beautifully on its own as well. If of legal drinking age, I
encourage you to enjoy Chimay Rouge as well!

~ALL ABOUT MADELINE DOLLS

The beloved Madeline Charecter was created by Ludwig Bemelmans'in 1939 but not with much notiriety. Bemelmans presented hisMadeline to publishers in 1939, and editors at several publishing houses felt the book was too sophisticated for children, but it was finally published by Simon and Schuster on September 5, 1939. All five subsequent Madeline books were published by Viking, which remained his principal publisher for adult and children's books. After the success of Madeline's Rescue, for which Bemelmans received the Caldecott Award in 1954, he continued to write about the adventures of the Parisian schoolgirl in Madeline and the Bad Hat (1957), Madeline and the Gypsies (1959), and Madeline in London (1961). Viking published Madeline's Christmas, which appeared originally in McCall's magazine, in 1985.
Little girls, and thier mother's have beenplaying with the Madeline doll and all her friends for quite some time. The Original manufacture of Madeline Dolls and Accessories was EDEN, they then sold the rights to Learning Curve.Around 2003 Learning Curve felt Madeline needed an update andchanged the look of the Classic Madeline we love in the Bemelmans' books and gave the doll a more "MODERN" look. This did not go over very well with long time fans, sales dropped andproduction stopped. Thus all Madeline Dolls, Clothes, Furniture, Animals such as Genevieve, Clarabell, the cute Accessories, Games, etc. have all been discontinued by the current manufacture in 2004.
But don't dispair,I took my love for theadorable Classic Madeline Charecter and created my okay STORE, A BABIES SMILE. There you will findEverything and Anything MADELINE! Ihaveevery outfit ever made, all the accessories, furniture and even the darling Madeline French Doll House, with all her friends including Pepito, Nona, Chloe, Danielle, Nicole,

Nars Makeup

Nars Makeup
Nars makeup is my favourite cosmetic brand. It is easy to apply, gees in the season's latest colours, is long wearing and always draws gepliments from friends. Nars colours are perfect for people who want to create a natural and healthy look. Nars is slightly more expensive than brands such as Clinique, Clarins and Estee Lauder but is definitely worth the investment. The great thing is that you can buy almost any Nars product on okay for well below the retail price! My top Nars product and Nars colour picksare:
Nars Eyeshadow
'Belissima'duo - a gorgeous shimmery nude and a matt taupe colourthat are perfect for day time and can be applied more heavily for asmokey effect at night time.
Nars Bellissima Eyeshadow
Himalayas- a subtle pink shimmery highlighter which is a perfect base colour. Sweep it over the entire eyelid and up to the brow.
Nars Himalayas Eyeshadow
Nars Bronzer

Laguna - you can apply this lightly for a glowing and sun-kissed effect. It has a small amount of shimmer that makes it perfect for evenings too. Concentrate on the cheek bones and temples.
Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder
Nars Blush
Powder Blush

Orgasm - This blush has a cult following and once you use it you quickly understand why! It's a shimmery peach/gold/bronze colour that gives your face an instant glow. Use it on your cheekbones, temples and dust a little on your forehead and nose. Best suited to those with a medium to dark skin tone.
Nars Orgasm Powder Blush
Deep Throat - Very similar in colour to Orgasm but does not have as much gold shine. I like to use Deep Throat during the day.
Nars Deep Throat Powder Blush
Cream Blush - The Multiple

'Maldives' The Multiple - The Multiple isa multi-purpose stick for cheeks, eyes and lips and is perfect for creating an all over glow.Ithas a beautiful creamy texture and isperfect for colouring the apple of your cheeks and highlighting under the eyebrow. If I only have a few minutes to do my makeup I'll use Laguna bronzer, followed by Maldives on my cheeks and some lip gloss (try Nars lip lacquer in Baby Doll - a baby pink colour)!
If you can only afford one item from the Nars range then the Multiple is it! It will last formonths and months. Other colours I regemend are Copacobana and Mauritius.

A free scarf pattern for beginner knitters!

Knitting is my favorite pastime. The best patterns I use are quick and prefect for starting on a Friday and wearing by Monday.
For this easy, breezy scarfpattern you will need a basic knowledge of casting on and off and the knit stitch. You will also need size 15 (10mm) straight knitting needles and about 2 oz(60grams) of your favorite fluffy worsted(light aran).
I like a fringe, so I cut 28 pieces of 20" lengths to set aside for fringe.
Cast on 14 stitches and knit 4 rows. Next row wind yarn around needle not once, but 3 times, then knit like normal. Contine across row. You now have 42 loops on your needle. The next row you knit into 1 loop and drop the other two, making a long drop stitch.
Continue down to the end, now you have 14 stitches again.
Knit 4 more rows, then the two drop stitch rows. Continue in this fashion, using up all your yarn.
Cast off after the 4 knit rows. Add fringe if desired.

These few basic tips will help even the best tried and trueart patrons, not to mention the novice collector, or a decorator looking for some art to spice up or add drama toa new decor.
