Feedback Bully Selling Knives.

Are you willing to put your okay integrity on the line? I've been an okay member for the last several years logging inaround ten thousand dollars in purchases. I have 100% positive feedback on items ranging from bulldozers and dump trucks to Cracker Jack knives. I must say that my okay experiences have been overwhelmingly positive, only leaving one negative feedback.
"Feedback for both sellers and buyers is the underlying foundation for integrity on okay" is a quote from one of my friendsthat leads me to the crux of the matter. Recently, I purchased a knife advertised as "big bladehasgood snap" "no chips". The picture was a little blurry, but a strong bladed vintage knifeis what I always carry, so I made the purchase. (Item number: 320065117856) I payed immediately . Shipping was a little slow, soI was leadto makea couple of polite inquires. Both replies were short and defensive. No big deal, no one says okayers have to pleasant!
When I received the knife the big blade had chip, it didnot snap;and neither blade wouldgepletely shut making it impossible to carry. I contacted the sellerdanhovisto make him aware of the problem. His first reply was, "what did I expect out a hundred year old knife?" and " it was collect not to use". I let him know to I carry a 90 year old knifeIbought on okay on a daily basis. I went on to add that the knife was misrepresented in his description.
Seeing that his defense of the misrepresenteditem was illogical I resorted to mentioning negative feed back. His reply was "go for it" I would suffer more from leaving negative feedback than he would. Seemingly, the only truthful statement he made.
I have no remedy for this problem other than sharing my experience with all of the knife lovers on okay. I urge other members to make their experiences with feedback bullies known to all. Also,I'm open for advice !
By the way, I sent the knife back to him for his birthday (since he likes looking at old knives). Yeah, he relisted it.
Respectfully,
Rob
