MURAD AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser Acne User Review

Out of all of my encounters with acne cleansers and exfoliating facial polish type cleansers, the MURAD AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser has won the trophy. I do not break out when I'm faithfully using this product, AND my existing blackheads and small breakouts disappear MUCH quicker than when I'm not on this product. Moreover, using this product is fun and enjoyable, it's actually very pleasantly addictive because of how smooth it makes my skin feel everytime I use it. It also helps treatment serums that I apply after washing my face penetrate much better and begee more effective.See my About Me page here:Skin Geek Information and Credentials - About an Obsessive Skin Care Fanatic This is the first cleanser that really deliver what it promises: deep cleanse pores, refines skin, improve skin texture and tone, without a hint of dryness, leaving my skin silky and smooth like no other cleanser has ever done for me.I am very hooked on this product even though I do not sell it nor carry it. I went to Sephora yesterday to get two full tubes of this because I use it multiple times a day and run out very fast. The Sephora staff tried to stop me from buying them because they wanted me to go with another milder, more "daily use" acne cleanser. They told me to lower my usage frequency of the Murad Exfoliating Cleanser down to 3 times a week and go with another daily cleanser. I stared at them in horror... I've tried the other ones (including the Murad Acne Cleanser with 1.5% Salicylic Acid), they don't work half as well as this one AND were very drying and irritating on my skin. I'm sticking to what my skin is telling me! If my skin is happy, I'm going with what made it happy.Thank lord for okay sellers carrying this at wholesale prices, next time I run out I'm going to buy my Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser from okay!Getting from Sephora at retail price of $38 each, this was really expensive for a cleanser, especially for me ( I am a DIY closet cosmetic chemist and have formulated many cosmetics products for brand name gepanies). When I do not mix up my own highly concentrated active skin care potions, I go economical.I normally go with Cetaphil, or a pharmaceutical acne cleanser, or another healthfood store or drugstore brand for cleansing purposes. I've tried Neutrogena pore refining cleanser, it didn't really do much for me... in fact, none of the Neutrogena cleansers have ever done much for my skin except leaving it overdried and irritated. I also liked Dr. Hauschka's exfoliating cleansers, however they're a little too mild and pampering for cleansing, especially if you wear makeup or sunscreens. I've also used St. Ive's Apricot Facial Scrub (with 1.5% Salicylic Acid and micronized Apricot Kernels as physical exfoliant), which is satisfactory when I don't have the Murad one, AND I have used Aqua Dessa's various berry-jam + jojoba bead facial scrubs. Most of the scrubs and exfoliating cleanser I've used above really do not do much for me. It is either too abrasive and drying, or it's too mild. But this Murad one is oddly well-formulated to have the perfect gebination of chemical and physical exfoliating properties. The AHA and BHA (Salicylic Acid) are formulated to be at very efficient pH levels, dissolving dead skin cells and core-clogging materials, THEN using micro jojoba beads to "sweep away" the guck, leaving your skin perfectly fresh, clean and smooth. At the bottom I'm listing more label details for this product, I highly regemend it. In my review onRemoving Acne Scars Quickly by Exfoliation , a good exfoliant is key to soft, supple, smooth skin and even tone. If you're using active skin care serums and corrective ingredients or regimens to heal the damaging effects of aging or acne inflammation, the ingredients will penetrate MUCH better if you pre-treat your face with a high quality exfoliating cleanser. And this Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser is the one to go with for me.Vote my Guide Helpful to help make perfect skin less daunting of a task for everyone!
